Everyone is invited to a free Community Picnic on June 10 – from noon to 5:00 p.m. – in the park grounds around the Burrows Community Centre on Sheppard Ave., just east of Markham Road.
TTC bus service on Sheppard East and on Markham Road makes it easy to take transit to this fun event.
Parking near this community picnic is also free.
Delicious food, lots of entertainment, games and attractions for kids of all ages, a silent auction, a draw, bike safety workshops and other attractions await you and your family on June 10.
This great annual Picnic is organized by the dedicated officers of our local Police 42 Division and the volunteer members of the 42 Division Community Police Liaison Committee.
Proceeds from this enjoyable Picnic will help fund other programs – including awards and scholarships for area students; after-school student groups; other youth opportunities; and the annual 42 Division Auxiliary Christmas Toy Drive – organized and supported by the officers and Committee.
42 Division serves the people, businesses and communities in the east end of Toronto – from Victoria Park Ave. to Port Union Road and from Steeles Avenue to Highway 401. We are safe and well protected by the officers and staff who serve with Police Superintendent Kim Yeandle.
